SureBook handles the kind of information that can end a career if it leaks: health details, Medicare IDs, personal records. This page explains what we do to protect it. SureBook is built by AgentMethods, which has been securing data for insurance professionals for over 15 years, and it runs on that same foundation.

What we do

  • Encryption. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard 256-bit encryption.
  • Access control. Unique user IDs and role-based permissions limit sensitive data to the people authorized to see it. Devices that access PHI are encrypted and can be wiped remotely, and physical access to areas where protected health information is stored is restricted.
  • Audits and training. We run regular security audits and risk assessments to find vulnerabilities before they become problems, and the whole team is trained on HIPAA protocols and data handling.
  • Backups and recovery. We maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans so your data survives whatever happens to a server.
  • Your data stays yours. We do not use your client data to train AI models.
  • Incident response. In the unlikely event of a security incident, our team responds immediately and works with you on compliance to keep the impact small.

HIPAA and SOC 2

AgentMethods is SOC 2 Type II audited. SureBook is HIPAA compliant: the administrative, physical, and technical safeguards the HIPAA Security Rule requires are in place, and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) are available.

What this means for you

You handle medical records, health conditions, and personal identifiers as a routine part of the job, and HIPAA sets national standards for protecting that information from collection through storage and transmission. Running your client communication through a HIPAA-compliant platform supports your own legal responsibility for meeting those standards, and it gives you a straight answer when a client asks how their information is handled.
